We use this restaurant frequently. It is a no frills curry house but food is good and staff very friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced

As others have mentioned it is not the most the decor is not the most upto date but who cares if the food and service are good?

Ate here early on Saturday night. The service and food were excellent. The decor is a bit dated, but everywhere is clean, and it was quaint to be transported back to the early 80's (too many neon palaces lately, with poor food/service). The best Indian food I had for a long time, possibly since 1980.

Visited this restaurant "party of 8" 19th/12 Atmosphere as previously mentioned good. Shown to our table and given menus, orders taken without a hitch, and when food arrived served quickly and efficiently. Avery wide selection was ordered by our party, and no complaints were raised or given, all seemed happy with individual choices. My Prawn Madras was hot in temperature, and spicy to taste, a good madras. The only slight inward moan, was the quantity of prawns in my dish. Not many compared to other Indian restaurants where i have ordered & eaten the same dish. But taste compensated! The nan bread & sagaloo side dishes with my meal were very nice, and complimented the madras very well.
Drinks with the meal were the obligatory Cobra Larger, cold & clean glasses, as one would expect. But trying to get replenishment's, did take time. It was a case of catching the eye of one of the three waiters, who were extremely busy. "perhaps this time of year" busy restaurant, should / could have had more waiting staff.
Now i am not one for over the top extravagance in decor, but this restaurant was lacking slightly, to which at the time of writing this review, i still cant put my finger on it, yes it was basic, but very clean, reminded me of the old style Indian restaurants of the late 70's / early 80's, only thing missing was Regan & Carter from the Sweeny "flares & leather bomber jackets" & a Capri parked outside. The staff were very friendly and communicated & explained dishes when questioned really well. Overall > Good food, service good, and would i return > yes.

When visiting Salisbury at the weekend I was pleasantly surprised and delighted by the service and especially the food at the "Asian" Indian restaurant. Reasonably priced too!!
Great tasting dishes and generous portions. I have eaten Indian all my life, so know a good one when I find it.

Don't miss out and treat yourself!

I was taken there by a close friend who has been patronising this restaurant for 20years and says the standard has always been good.

Went as a birthday treat for a friend, table was clean but to cramped for four people. The food was ok I had duck which was nice but a little bland. The others enjoyed their meal though. The service was excellent. I was disappointed in their choice of beer. The prices were good though. I would try them again. The Railway Station is five minutes walk away and the main car park is only five minutes away also.
