I've returned back to the area after 8 years away and, based on the positive reviews, decided to take a visit to Timoneys with the family. Kathryn greeted us warmly and although busy she kindly booked us a table and we returned 20 mins later. It's like a home from home and we were all made to feel very welcome.

The food was impeccable and the lemon drizzle cake was a taste sensation. Kathryn and her attentive staff couldn't do enough for us and it's credit to her and her team that they are getting such great reviews.

To be honest we're lucky to have such a place on our doorstep and we'll certainly be visiting again.

Rich, Karen and Rosie.

If you go here after lunch time they freak out and can only do cake and coffee so we have to fit in with their schedule. When we had breakfast a couple of days later it was tasty but nothing special and a bit mean on the portions e.g. three small mushrooms. The staff were lovely but really the food is just ok and there is not much choice on the menu. Overrated in my opinion.

What a wonderful treat, came along time ago and stumbled here again after a drive round! The service is absolutely spot on, the owners mum is just so lovely and friendly, love the flavoured name hot drinks! The food was so fresh, tasty and wonderful, both my friend and I had an open sandwich with goats cheese, spinach and caramelised onion, mouthwatering! And all for £12! Can't wait to go back! Thank you!

Visited Timoneys on a short visit to Leeds after it was recommended by a local. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and enjoyed the chat with the Australian owner and host. Food was freshly prepared and served with a smile.. The owner should open an academy for customer service, it would be a resounding success!

Last week I witnessed an awesome & magnificent sight! It was a double rainbow! And right at the end of the rainbow stood Timoneys in Oakwood, Leeds! Timoneys oozes with everything you could ask for in a cafe..from the time you enter their doors, you feel as if you've been adopted and became part of their unique & friendly family. All the staff, no matter how busy they are, always have time for you and always make sure the food is up to their high standards. The red headed owner Kathryn certainly has been kissed by the Blarney Stone and although she has an Australian accent..she is of Irish origin..her pot of gold are her delicious foods..her home made cakes which are made on the premises are 2 die 4..especially the Lemon & Orange drizzle cake..yum..
