“great stay”
Reviewed 9 April 2012

A great little place for a weekend away clean comfortable room and the breakfast and bar area were excellent the quality of the breakfast was exceptional especially the sausages and all locally produced, the provision of packed lunches and maps for tramping on the moors was also very nice.
The only down side was the lilac room we stayed in was an attic room and while the views were great the sloping ceiling did make the room a little claustrophobic.
Other than that it was great little place and we would happily return when next in Haworth.

Room Tip: If you are tall avoid the sloping ceilings.

Arrived at the guest house on Friday evening and was very impressed by the guest house. We stayed in the Pears Room and whilst this was one of the smaller attic rooms, it was still a very good size with a good sized bathroom. Clean and airy. The restaurant area where breakfast was served is laid with lovely floor boards. Breakfast was delicious with local produce served. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room, along with a hairdryer, a lovely comfortable bed. the staff that manage the place were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the walls between the rooms are a little thin (we cold hear the woman talking in the room next to ours). This would be my only criticism though and wouldn't stop me staying again and I would defibitely recommend the guesthouse. It is well located in the village. Very good value for money, worth every penny.

We stayed two nights at the Old Registry on Haworth's old cobbled Main Street. We had the Memories Room with its four poster bed and huge bathroom. The room was comfortable and clean. The Yorkshire breakfast was yummy. Free parking (voucher provided) was just round the corner at the Haworth Old Hall Inn. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The Memories Room overlooks the Main Street and is excellent.
