“Wonderful stay in a cosy cabin!”

We have just spent two nights in the Boat House retreat and loved every minute! James is a wonderful host, communication before our stay was great and he welcomed us on arrival. James had plenty of information and recommendations for the local area and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The cabin is perfect for a couple with a comfortable bed, dining area, relaxing area, kitchen, bathroom, TV, wifi and outside decking area overlooking a lovely pond.
James and Karen provided tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fruit, yoghurts, juice and breakfast bars which is a lovely touch.
The barn is relatively close to the main house, but private enough to think you are on your own. There is parking available.
All in all a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back if we find ourselves in the area again!

We stayed for 3 nights and were welcomed to the property by James. He was very helpful explaining a variety of things as well as making useful suggestions where to visit and where to eat. The property itself was well fitted out, comfortable and cosy. All in all a lovely place and somewhere we will definitely consider staying again should we be visiting the Chichester area again.

“Retreat by name and by nature”
Reviewed 11 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

We had found this place on Trip Advisor and wanted a quiet, peaceful and beautiful place to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The accommodation was great. An all encompassing building built next to the owners property, if you needed anything they were only a stones throw away. James met us shortly after we arrived and we had a good chat, with him offering great advice on various different places to go depending on what we were after. We changed our plans, visited Arundel Castle and Climping beach and so glad that we did as they were just what we wanted. Plenty of choice of local pubs, villages and with Arundel and Chichester just a few miles away, this has everything you could ask for. We also had a good chat with James when we said we were leaving and we will definitely look to go back and enjoy all over again!!!

“Chill time”
Reviewed 10 June 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Despite the awful weather we had a lovely relaxing time. Lots of places to visit nearby. The accomadation was lovely just a shame the weather spoilt us being able to sit outside on an evening.
