Just a one night stay (Friday night) as was visiting folks in Bognor Regis...which has a dearth of decent hotels, hence my stay in Chichester.

Very impressed with this Travelodge, a spacious enough room, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom (one of those standard 'pod' type bathrooms they drop in to new-builds). Very comfortable bed with crisp linen, usual flat screen TV and tea and coffee making tray. Very good lighting....including a 'soft lighting' bar that located along the top of the headboard, plus also inset in the headboard were reading lights a very neat and practical design.

Did not use the pub adjacent but looked pretty busy so must be popular. Alternative is a Wetherspoons right opposite for cheaper booze & food.

Paid £37 for the room on an advanced booking, which I felt was good value for a Friday night. All in all a very good property, in an excellent central location around a 10 mins walk from the bus and railway stations. Could not really fault this hotel. I would say that if Travelodge keep up with there 'upgrade push' they may challenge the might of Premier Inn after all........

Room Tip: As with all centrally located hotels, request a high floor room.

Standard travelodge rooms but an excellent location next to the Cathedral and easy walking to all shops, restaurants and bars. Free adjacent car park but as mentioned by others the stench on the entrance/exit stairs is awful.
One thing to note the rooms have extremely small windows, not a room you want to spend too long in during the day!

Super comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room. The most lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The only thing to moan about is the breakfast box - but then we didn't have it! Ideal location. Very near shops and Chichester Cathedral.

WE stayed here twice in January to attend events at Chichester Festival Theatre. The location is ideal as it is just off the main town road. There is parking available and then it was possible to walk to both the town and the festival theatre. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff on reception were helpful and polite. The next time we visit Chichester we will stay here again

This Travelodge must be in one of the best locations. Opposite the Lovely Chichester Cathedral and in the middle of shops, cafes and pubs. Buses outside go to Bogna, Portsmouth and you can get connections to Eastbourne and Brighton. Rooms are clean, staff good and no noise from outside.
