Stayed here with friends meal was OK but nothing exceptional service was slow for both dinner and breakfast but the staff were pleasant. Room was OK but unfortunately I could not get the shower to work and although the windows were double glazed you could here the traffic on the A27 which started around 5.30am but I guess it depends which room you have.

Room tip: Ask for room 24

If you pass by this pub you will miss out on a fantastic Sunday carvery .
WE were in the area and ready to eat so popped in here on the off chance food was still being served at 2pm.
So glad they were. It was a cold winters day on entering the pub it was warm, beautiful fire on the go and great atmosphere.
We opted for the carvery where we met Jasper who served us with a warm welcome and gave us some information that food was local produce. Great choice, 3 meats, crackling, stuffing , yorkshire pud lots of vegs and piping hot gravy. All served with a smile .
Fantastic staff at the bar and waitresses. Clean tables and napkins/cutlery.
House Merlot fantastic.
We did not want to leave and if the Man utd Man city game was not on we would have carried on eating drinking and stayed over night in one of their rooms, which are a great price.
Christmas tree looked good too.
Thanks for a great meal guys ,we are coming back with the family and stopping over .

Pleasant stay - had room at the back - hotel on a busy road.
Lovely large bath towels and bed linen.
Room had everything needed.
Suggestion however to improve facility for ladies to make up - Bathroom had a good mirror but poor lighting. No where to stand products other than sink edge.
Dressing table mirror above - poor location.

We stayed for two nights and were pleased with the accomadation. Room was at the back which was good because it was on a busy road, plenty of parking. I would not recommend turning right out of the hotel as the road is very busy and traffic is travelling at speed.
Breakfast was excellant we had two evening meals there as well and they were good if quite expensive. I would not recommend the spicy bean burger as it is too hot.
Nice stay, busy area, lots of interesting places nearby.
