we had the set lunch menu which was very tasty, spicy garlic bread and mussels and cooked beautifully. Pleasant staff and the atmosphere was very nice as was the décor. My only tiny gripe was the spotlessly clean toilets had a basin that soaked my jeans due to it being thigh level and no working hand dryer(ladies and mens actually) but it didn't spoil our lunch.

Spent a leisurely weekend in Arundel and had a lovely meal Saturday night at La Campania - the place had a real buzz and we had an excellent evening.

After visiting Las Campania last summer and really enjoying it, I finally brought my wife here the other Sunday for an evening meal.

We went for three courses, all of which were lovely. For starters we had bruschetta and mozzarella garlic bread, mains we had Spaghetti Bolognaise and Tagliatelle nduja & ricotta, for pudding we had sorbet and fruit of the forest cheesecake.

The service was absolutely brilliant, not at all intrusive. The building itself has a lovely old fashioned feel to it too, which adds to the charm.

Well where do I start.. such a beautiful rustic decor, gorgeous wooden beams in the ceiling and a friendly welcome..our host Danny was very attentive and exceptionally knowledgeable.. the menu was extensive and plenty of choice..
I had the chicken liver patè to start, very generous portion and tasty. The fillet Steak was my next choice a.d that was cooked so tender and perfect that I didn't want this steak to end. I chose the garlic and butter dressing that was 100% home made. I am pretty safe from the vampires for a few days. Wasn't too much or over powering again just perfect. I somehow managed a 3rd course and went for the lemon sorbet, it was both sharp and sweet.. Danny absolutely went out of his way to ensure we were both happy with each and every course and we enjoyed a delightful conversation with him at the end of the night.
I could not recommend this restaurant enough. The attention to detail to everything I had and that of my friend was quite frankly beautiful. They clearly have a passion for food and service that just radiates from.evweuthi g they do and serve..
I would go as far to say that by a long way, this is the best steak I've had. The meat was so fresh and tender it had the wow factor. I can not wait to return. Thank you again to Danny, his wife and the team. You totally turned my rubbish day into one of the most enjoyable evenings out..

Having looked at many restaurants up and down the High Street, we chose this one and it was a very good choice. It's a warm and cosy Italian run by Italians with very good friendly service. They perhaps have too much choice, with 3 different menus it's not easy to choose. Anyway, we went with pizzas which were as good as any that I've had anywhere, Italy included, and we couldn't finish them, so left with our take out boxes for lunch the next day!
The bill, including a bottle of wine was just under £50 for two.
