Went for lunch after comparing it with similar style places in Birmingham and looking at their menus- felt that the menu descriptions looked more interesting here - and we were not disappointed!
We decided to go for the 3 course menu and were very pleased we did. As well as the dishes on the menu there was a selection of extra little dishes - without exception delicious and beautifully presented.
The venison dish I had for my main course was the best venison I have ever eaten- not just the meat itself, but the whole dish.
The quail dish I also had included smoked chicken hearts - doesn't sound appetizing, but tasted divine....
