We went for Sunday Lunch and one of our party has some food intolerances. They couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was delicious.

My husband booked this as a pre cinema treat for his Mom who is a vegetarian. They had both been before but it was my first time.

Great place. Loved the marrow and corn fritters as a starter and then falafel wrap for main.

Delicious food in a good setting.

This is still a nice place to go for dinner and currently it is BYOB which is always good. But not as good as it used to be.

The food has got a bit boring since the revamp. The menu stays the same and no specials were available. Previous visits there were normally specials offered for mains(the polish themed night was excellent) and there used to be a wider range of starters which don't exist anymore. I can't even get Olives anymore!

The food is OK value about mid range.

The old restaurant used to get packed out but the atmosphere seems to have gone and I am not sure why. Staff not as welcoming as it used to be either.

Still good for a quick dinner after work and hopefully will pick up again.

Another of those Brummie gems, hidden away in the backstreets behind Moor St Station. They have moved to street level now which is so much easier for the disabled, but they continue to maintain a high standard of vegetarian/vegan dishes at very reasonable prices. Since moving downstairs they do not have a licence, so bring your own.

Three humans and one dog went along. When I phoned to ask if dogs were allowed, they basically said that they love having dogs. So don't leave your poor pooch behind - take them along as well!

Two of us had the seitan kebab in pita bread, which we thought was quite tasty. The seitan "meat" was thinly sliced and somewhat spiced and served with lots of salad and various sauces.

The third member of our group had halloumi fried in panko bread crumbs, which was served with chips - this was a non-meat "fish and chips" option. The halloumi in panko crumbs were delicious. My only minor niggle was the there were three pieces of halloumi, whereas I would have thought that four pieces would have been more appropriate value.

Service was friendly. The cafe interior is simply decorated and clean. And our dog was immediately brought a bowl of water without us having to ask for it.

Recommended!
