Took hubby here the day after Valentine's day and as always the food and staff (Richard) was superb. It really is a little gem of a restaurant. Suitable for any occasion. We enjoy it here and we're never disappointed.

Hugely disappointed to write such a negative review as I can see this is a popular place. We waited over an hour and a half for breakfast, as a result of this we were promised free drinks but we ended up paying. We were told a chef had burned their hand so we were happy to wait but 1.5 hours was ridiculous. The waiters kept telling everyone 2 more minutes and we ended up waiting much longer but finally got our food after saying we're ready to leave twice. Got the food and my order was wrong but couldn't wait any longer. Sad to have had such a bad time here as I'm sure its great most of the time but I had to say something! :(

I am so sorry for your wait and as explained at the time one of our chefs experienced a serious burn and had to leave the kitchen. We are a small kitchen team of three which is usualy sufficient for our order volume. Our breakfasts usually take 20 to 30 minits to serve as we cook fresh to order. Due to being one chef down I'm afraid that the kitchen 'lost it's line' and orders were seriously delayed, which was outside of our control. Do come and visit again as this is not the norm for ju ju's.

I was getting a bit hangry whilst waiting for my breakfast, as it is a super popular place. However the wait was well worth it. Fantastic! Would go again.

We haven't visited JuJu's for a few years as we live in the south but decided it was time to pay a visit to check out the extension and re-vamp! We were a party of 4 - I had told my mother and sister in law all about it and they were keen to come with us. We arrived at 12.30pm on a Sunday. The great thing about JuJu's is they serve breakfast all day along with a choice of Sunday roast plus the usual items on the menu so there is something for everyone! The décor is quirky and fun and I love the way everyone is welcomed with 'sit wherever you feel comfortable'. How often have you been to a restaurant and been seated somewhere and you think why have they put us here? Well there's none of that at JuJu's! We had a delicious starter to share of the homemade nacho's followed by the pie of the day. All the food is locally sourced where possible and fresh which sometimes means they may have sold out of certain items on the menu if there has been a run on something. Portions are large! We didn't have room for pudding but maybe that's because we were happy drinking the pink fizz! This is real gem of a place - right on the canal - great in winter but particularly lovely in summer when you can sit outside.

I had no idea about JuJu's until my cousin booked us for brunch. Just at the back of Brindley place, it is slightly hidden, but this is definitely a quirky place to be for a Saturday brunch. There is a good selection on the menu including vegetarian options. Food portions are good and priced well. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
