When you arrive in the carpark it is next to a large open grassed area that stretches all the way over to the airport where you can simply walk or play ball games. There is a playground suitable for children of all ages. Take a wander from there into the farm area where you will find the chickens and geese first then onto the cow and pig sheds. There are recently built toilets and a baby change and a cafe where you can sit inside or out on picnic benches and they serve light snacks and the usual teas and coffees. A lovely way to spend an afternoon for free!!

On behalf of my 20 month old daughter. We had a fantastic time feeding the ponies, goats and pigs... Also said hello to the ducks, chickens and cows. A fun, afternoon to be had by youngsters, with on site cafe and new toilet facilities. Plenty of parking and good kids play area. Most of all it's free.

Fully working "mini" urban farm, original buildings, and a selection of animals. Farm is ideal for small children, and has a wonderful tea room. This little gem of a cafe/tea room, serves first class food & drinks (their bacon sandwiches are to die for!....from an expert who knows) at prices that are unheard of in this day & age (bacon sandwich £1.80 coffee 80p !)

Quite a walk from the train station to the farm. The Farm itself is very nice yet small. All of the animals are nice. We enjoyed ourselves there. The tea room outside there even some chickens strolling around with you. Great for young kids.
