Visited last month for the Oscar Winners concert by the London Concert Orchestra.

Always love this venue. Paid for the most expensive seats which were great. Unfortunately some people don't know how to behave at such events which is where you could really do with stewards/ushers being on hand to quieten people down so that others can enjoy & appreciate the music.

The concert was brilliant. Standard excellent. Selection of music excellent.

Plenty of eateries around the venue and local parking.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Will definitely return.

Thank Wasessa

I've been to classical concerts in many halls and venues around the UK, and I've never experienced such a good acoustic as Birmingham Symphony Hall offers. Every note, from every part of the orchestra was clear, yet without undermining the overall power and sweep of the music. No wonder it's ranked as the 7th best concert hall in the world, according to an acoustics expert who is quoted on Wikipedia.
The exterior of the convention centre is dullness personified - the interior is stunning. book for anything and go!

I've promised myself that I will attend the free jazz sessions every Friday evening but I've hardly ever been. But I got there last month. I sat and listened to the music, took photos, had drink then met up with friends, I love the space. So many different ways of taking in concerts, in the foyers, the hall, free, paid, we shall have music

Wow what a fantastic venue! The hall itself is just beautiful and has lovely acoustics as you would expect. We went to see a movie music evening by the symphony orchestra which was just magical.
The only draw back was that the toilets were a bit smelly on the outside and we queued for ages during the interval to get in. I think they are in need of an update but the actual hall itself was just great and the ushers very helpful.

The sound quality at the Symphony Hall is outstanding.
All seats give a clear view of the performance. There is a nice bar for a pre performance drink or at the interval.
There is a varied programme throughout the year. Located in city centre excellent parking near by at the NIA centre.
