The Cottage is lovely and in such a convenient place. Just over the quaint bridge is the ' Big Meadow' - ideal for doggy walks and lovely riverside walks to local villages. So many lovely places on the doorstep. You must visit Chipping Campden - step back in time. The Bridge Restaurant is at the end of the short road , you must go there, we would have eaten there every night if we had discovered it earlier. We had a brilliant holiday - does help when the sun shines. The cottage has a few steps and steep stairs so be aware when booking.

A very comfortable cottage in a lovely village. Courtyard garden excellent for relaxing in after exploring the area. Close to river walks, Stratford upon Avon and The Cotswold villages. Lots of places of interest nearby.

“Fabulous cottage, superb location.”
Reviewed 22 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Lovely, home-from-home cottage, with all amenities. Situated in the quiet but lively village of Bidford, and only a few yards from the picturesque stone bridge over the Avon.

Superb location, within easy reach of the most fabulous countryside, villages and attractions. There are plenty of opportunity for attractive walks without having to use a car. But within only a few miles drive are some of the best attractions England has to offer (Hidcote, Coughton, Kelmscott and achingly pretty villages to name but a few).

Communication with the owner was excellent, as was the information provided to allow us to make the most of our visit.

A previous visitor noted that the only thing the cottage lacked was a corkscrew. It's no surprise that this had been remedied some time before we arrived: the entire booking process felt like making arrangements with friends rather than being a simple business transaction.

Our single regret was having to leave the cottage after making it our home for the fortnight. We shall certainly return!

“The Perfect Little Cottage”
Reviewed 11 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed at the cottage for 2 weeks and loved it, The cottage is very clean and cozy, and has eveyrthing that you need. The location is excellent, situated between Stratford-on Avon and The Cotswolds. The village has all the amenities at hand - butcher, bakery, supermarket, post office, newsagents, chemist, pubs, restaurants, take-aways.

“Fabulous little oasis of peace and quiet!”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Lovely cosy little cottage, with a suntrap courtyard garden. Well equipped, very clean and tidy. The local amenities provide all you need. Just one draw back for an elderly person, there is no hand rail on the stairs, which are very steep.
