Arrived here at 11am as had to move hotels and reception happy to let us leave our car and check in later, did not charge us any extra. Room was clean and comfortable as i find all premier inn hotels are.Never ate here so cant comment on food but have to say that all staff we spoke with were really lovely and friendly. Just a 10 minute walk to Quayside main area and great location, if staying in Newcastle again would definitely stay here as cheaper than main areas and a lovely walk into center.

We aarived on friday at 1.45pm, we were informed our room wasnt ready yet, but should be in 10-15min. We sat in the bar and had a drink, 45min later - still no news, so went to reception to ask how much longer - turns out room was ready for past half hour, just nobody informed us.
Lift is broken (turns out was broken for a long time - no info about it when booking) - I had leg injury so of we knew about it when booking - would choose different hotel.
When we tried to check out, had to wait 10min for anyone, went and asked boy in restaurant - but he was too busy chatting on the mobile phone!!!
Just terrible customer service overall.
I stay in Premier Inn whenever traveling with work - this was the worst stay I ever had. Room was small, shower - water pressure almost non existing, just really bad.
But staff - Terrible.
Lift - you really should inform about it when booking hotel, especially that reception is on 1st floor and our room was on 2nd. It states on website that there is lift in the hotel.
Not happy at all.

Recently refurbished hotel. Good standards of rooms. Pleasant staff. Traditional quality Premier Inn matress and pilows. A favourite location with group - doesn't cause any problems. But, short-term lack of a lift may be an issue for some customers.
