Lovely little restaurant serving great food. Friendly attentive waitress who was happy to chat about the food and menu. We shared a starter and had a main course each with rice and bread. We both had an alcoholic drink and the bill was around £30. Fantastic value for a well cooked and delicious meal.

Wanted a bite to eat before going to Newcastle Metro Arena so found this restaurant. What a great find. Food is lovely. We missed out on the early special menu but chose from their normal menu. Very nice food. Would come back here if ever in Newcastle

I ordered using deliveroo. I ordered a soup, koobideh and typical Persian bred with a white sauce and all was really delicious. Specially the koobideh I have no words for describe how delicious was!!

We discovered Taste of Persia because it was a short walk from our Holiday Inn Express on a snowy night, and were so pleased we did! We were welcomed by our waitress, who was happy to explain any dishes on the menu when we said we'd not tried Persian food before. The service was prompt and attentive, and the food very tasty! We sat upstairs, which was cosy, with interesting Persian artefacts on display. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and would highly recommend Taste of Persia.

Visited the Jesmond restaurant on the off chance, after deliberating where to go. Wow, what can I say. A lovely, warm, friendly restaurant which is extremely reasonably priced. We chose the early bird menu & got houmous, artisan bread (extra),olives, two mains & 2 sides, 2 sprites & a bottle of wine for £38 which to me is fantastic value for money. We couldn’t even finish the mains as the portions were so generous in size. Looking forward to visiting again!
