Came for some breakfast/lunch with the boyfriend and our dog. Really friendly service and Rufus (dog) got fresh water brought out for him. Nice and relaxed setting, big window views over tynemouth. Menu had good range of lunch options and really reasonably priced compared to other lunch spots in Tynemouth. Friendly chef popped his head over the pass to ask how everything was.
Will definitely be coming again for lunch on our next visit

We have visited before for coffee and scones but popped in here with friends for lunch last week. One choice was not available but lots of others to choose from. We all had the homemade beef pie (melted in the mouth) with potatoes, veg and gravy and it was delicious. We will be back....

Just had a superb beef sandwich with gravy to die for and the best latte I’ve had in ages. Quick service! Lovely building.

Just excellent!!! Top place for lunch! And fantastic value! Love it!

Service was at table and fast. Big pot of tea served immediately. The bacon and egg sandwich was just superb. Looked good and tasted even better.
The surroundings are spacious and warm. Basic furnishings but adequate and typical of the setting in a hall at the cathedral.
I have no doubt I will be back during one of my regular visits to Newcastle.

We called in for a light lunch and were highly delighted. We opted for the chicken broth and shared a panini. Both were delicious but we also looked on enviously at the other meals that came out. The menu choice was interesting, varied and good value and I would definitely visit again if in Newcastle.
