“Absolutely perfect place to stay... 100% recommended!”
Reviewed 29 August 2018 for a stay in August 2018

From start to finish, this booking has been an absolute joy!

Lucy is the most helpful host you could imagine - she has shown genuine qualities of kindness, honesty and integrity throughout the process.

The property is beautiful.

There is a definitive theme of quality - blinds/curtains, beds/bedding, furniture, bathrooms, kitchen equipment... everything is stunning, and extremely well thought out.

We loved that the consumables were so generously given and followed our family idea of 'give the guests the best!'

There were many thoughtful gifts left for us, all of which were high quality brands - dog treats, dog shampoo, tennis balls for the dog, fudge, biscuits, bread, butter, milk, eggs, chilled water, prosecco, tassimo pods, tea bags, coffee etc.

Continuing the theme of generosity, the bathrooms contained new, great quality hand soap and shower products, and a generous supply of toilet rolls!

There were three of each, dishwasher tablets and laundry capsules, so these are the only extras we needed to purchase for our stay, along with kitchen/bathroom spray and cleaning cloths.

The outside area was perfect for us.

For starters, a huge field for our dog/children... plus outdoor furniture and a great barbecue.

This is, without doubt, a brilliant place to take a break and are so looking forward to booking again soon!

“Stunning ”
Reviewed 1 August 2018 for a stay in August 2018

Swallows Roost was stunning throughout. It has been converted to a very high standard and most things considered if not all. The thoughtful dog arrival hamper was an amazing touch and the welcome hamper for the humans was lovely. The space is beautiful and I will certainly return in the future. The outside space is perfect. It was a lovely break away thank you so much.

“Beautiful holiday rental”
Reviewed 4 June 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Fantastic accommodation, beautifully kept inside and out. Perfect for a relaxing break - children, dog and parents all extremely happy here. We all enjoyed the delicious goodies left in our welcome pack and we were so impressed with everything that was provided for our dog, from sofa to shower to treats. Hoping to return to this amazing converted stable again.

“Fabulous pet friendly Suffolk cottage.”
Reviewed 8 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Swallows' Roost in Pinford End has everything. Peaceful inside and out. Our dog was treated like family. Lucy brought a ramp to help our older lab cross over a small doorway step. And, she even helped me order a sling to assist Max in and out of the car. The Sophie Alport and Laura Ashley interior is lovely and the Swallows' Roost is fabulous. We will return.

“Excellently confortable, provisioned, lodge with added bonus of wild life on the doorstep.”

Very quite rural location but within minutes of Bury St. Edmunds where you will find the Abbey with a small aviary and a mixture of both independent shops along with high street names and with delightfully varied street market.
