Having spent many hours looking for suitable accommodation for myself and my husband to stay at whilst visiting family in Felsham, I was thrilled to find this little gem. The photos online gave a great overall impression of the accommodation which not only lived up to expectation but exceeded them. You have to see the architecture yourself to fully appreciate the craftsmanship that has gone into the renovation of the stables.

Debbie was there to greet us on arrival with a lovely welcome and some helpful items were in the fridge.

We were even able to bring our family over one afternoon to enjoy sitting out in the sun with a wonderful view of the gardens

One of the best self catering places I have stayed at and believe me.. I'm fussy!!

Highly recommended, fantastic value for money and we will hopefully be back.

Claire and David

“Superb Accommodation and Surroundings”
Reviewed 27 June 2018 for a stay in May 2018

My husband and I are quite particular when it comes to holiday accommodation (well, anything really) and it’s rare that a place meets our standards. The Stable at Mullion Barn didn’t just meet, it exceeded our high standards. The accommodation itself was luxurious with a gorgeous bedroom. The living area and kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom with walk in shower was fabulous.

The surrounding countryside was just what we needed - it was so peaceful. Yet surprisingly close enough to Bury St Edmunds for shopping trips and also near enough to several Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (“Suffolk Coast and Heaths”, “Dedham Vale” and “North Norfolk”), Thetford Forest and the Broads National Park for day trips. Southwold is just under an hour away too.

We had our two young children with us and there was plenty to do but the holiday would have been perfect for couples too.

Finally, I must add that the hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We were delighted with our stay and will be back again very soon!

“Gem in stunning surroundings”
Reviewed 29 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

“Wonderful, charming, stunning, quiet, picturesque” just some of the words that ran through my mind as we spotted the barn on driving through the village.

Everything you need in your own private accommodation, with attentive owners living next door.

The view as you awake in the comfortable bed made our morning.

Well worth a visit and we can’t wait to return again soon.

“Lovely and quiet with very comfortable accomodation.”
Reviewed 6 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Loved it here, easy to find the Barn when driving through the village. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The accommodation is attached to the main house but completely separate and private with it's own driveway and parking area. The Mullion window is in the very comfortable sitting room. Nice big & comfortable bed. The hosts were very welcoming and left us to it. We will be back!
