The hotel is in need of refurbishment. Having said that the room was clean, all the staff were friendly and very helpful. As the object of our stay was to visit the National Memorial Arboretum it is perfectly located.

Having stayed in a few Premier Inns, by comparison this one is a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. Overall the room was clean and the reception staff were very friendly. However, what really let's it down is the adjoining pub/restaurant the Fradley Arms. Having arrived in the evening we decided to have a drink there. The place was dark, dirty and most unpleasant with seats torn, wet tables and a fusty smell. I cannot see how a national chain of hotels can let their overall customer experience suffer in such a manner. Needless to say we did not breakfast there preferring to drive to the nearest Harvester restaurant.

The place itself is difficult to find
The car park is really big, bonus point!
The rooms are very dated and look very dirty. They are clean but give the impression that they are dirty. The bathrooms are tiny, but sufficient. the shower is very good.
The bed was a double whereas at other premier inns they are bigger, it was very high, i am 5'5 and the bed came up to my waist. The bed was very comfortable and had the temperature in the room not been hot and cold all night, we would have had an amazing nights sleep. The temperature even though we set it at the controller did what it wanted to do all night. For the money paid for this premier inn (£100 for the night) i expected a lot more. The pub next door is ok, it is very dated and needs a good scrub. The menu again is ok, nothing amazing, very few vegetarian options.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at our Lichfield North East (A38) Hotel.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel the hotel is hard to find, we do try to give guests directions on the hotels page on our website however, we will pass on your feedback regarding this.

I'm also sorry to hear that you feel the hotel is dated and gave the impression that the hotel was dirty and that the temperature in your room was up and down all night. We do endeavour to make every aspect of our guests stay a good one and it's disappointing that we have fallen short on this occasion. I can assure you that we have passed on your comments and feedback to the hotel management team to look into and take the necessary measures to improve this for future stays .

My apologies again for any inconvenience caused and I do hope that this experience hasn't deterred you from staying with us in the future.

Kind regards,
James

Hairs in the bath on arrival. Bath cleaned by staff quickly when brought to their attention. Not a pleasant sight but dealt with, just perhaps an oversight but still made us wonder about the cleanliness of the whole room if that had been left.

As usual this Premier Inn was a pleasure to stay in. The only down side was it was on a very fast dual carriageway but was set far enough back so as not to keep us awake at night.
The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us.
