SWTSMBO booked the pitch and we arrived a day early, so the staff found us an available pitch for the extra night without any drama. The newly converted premier pitches are good too, we go to the Old Oaks every couple of years and the improvements to the site are always welcome.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. And big up to our fab reception staff for arranging the extra night. See you again in a couple of years, hopefully!

All the best

Arrived at the Old Oaks Park, after a long drive, to a stress-free and most warm & inviting welcome. Steve, one of the wardens on duty, showed us to our cabin and how to use the hot tub (Stayed in the cedar lodge with hot tub).
Accommodation was very clean and, quite to mine & my partner's surprise, quite spacious. The lodge had everything you need for a break and was well-maintained.
There is a well-stocked shop on site, for all your food basics (I would like to particularly recommend the sausages), camping essentials and info on the local area. They also do an Indian night (Sun/Wed), kebab/pizza night (Mon) which we partook of and found very helpful for when we didn't want to cook.
The park does have wi-fi, but is very slow, which didn't bother us in the slightest; we had come for a relaxing break, away from the stresses of everyday life. The park is in a very beautiful area, with a view of Glastonbury Tor, behind the park.
Near to Glastonbury, which harbours an eclectic mix of people, that I found very interesting and a breath of fresh air. It is not too far, for trips further afield also; we visited Longleat Safari Park, which was excellent value for money, for all that you got to see; Cheddar Gorge, which was a geologists' dream come true, for myself in particular; we also visited Wells and its abbey, which was historically interesting.
I would highly recommend the Old Oaks Park, for anyone wishing to visit this beautiful part of Somerset!!

So lovely to hear you had a lovely stay in one of our Cedar Lodges and managed to pack so much into your time here. We have fingers and toes crossed that our new, higher speed fibre broadband will be in place by June, but like you said, sometimes it's just nice to get away from everything, including the online world.

Thanks for the recommendation. We hope you'll return in the future.

All the best

What a fabulous caravan site!
Welcoming, efficient and clean. Beautifully manicured lawns dividing discreet ample sized pitches. Set in a beautiful location close to many wonderful places to visit.
The shower block facilities are luxurious and there is a shop for basics and comfortable, well stocked leisure area.
Peaceful and restful with only the sheep and cows making any noise - blissful.
