Excellent experience with this company. We booked at the last minute. Our guide (John) was great and full of interesting information about the area. I would highly recommend them

If you are in Bath, you must take the Stonehenge tour.
The tour itself isnt that long, maximum 4hours, so u will have time to visit another things.
There is two times for the tour 9:30 and 2:30.
Our driver was friendly, proffesional and informative.
When we reached there he took care of the tickets and gave us tips about the Stonehenge area.

We were staying at the Abbey Hotel, so the tourist information centre and the meeting point for the Scarper Tours Stonehenge tour was right on our doorstep. You should go to the tourist information centre first to book your seats and pre-pay for the tour you want to go on (we were able to go on a tour the following day).
The tour lasts for four hours in total: 1 hour to travel there, 2 hours to spend at Stonehenge, and another hour to travel back to Bath. We decided to split our two hours at Stonehenge equally between viewing Stonehenge itself and checking out the visitors' centre, which turned out to be a very good decision as the two hours just flew by, and by the time we arrived at the visitors' centre we just about had time for a quick look at the exhibits, to buy a drink from the cafe, and to get our souvenirs at the gift shop.
Both drivers/tour-guides were helpful, friendly and informative. The mini-bus was quite spacious and comfortable with air conditioning and tinted windows. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bath who wants to go to Stonehenge!

I did a lot of research to pick Scarper Tours for a half-day tour to Stonehenge. I found them to offer the most reasonable package for travel and entry to the site.

Our guide Mark was cheerful and informative. The drive was scenic and enhanced by the narrative. Two hours allowed at the park, leaves plenty of time to view this ancient monument without feeling rushed. The half-day design of this tour was perfect, leaving us the afternoon to enjoy Bath.

As we planned to visit Stonehenge from our base in Bath during our trip to England, a key question was whether to take a train and then taxi, or pick a tour bus operator.
We choose Scarper Tours, and we could not have been happier.
The hour-long trip was comfortable, relaxed, and without a hitch. The bus was a nice size with 19 comfortable seats.
Our driver/tour guide John picked us up and dropped us off at the Abbey Hotel. He personable and professional and took care of all the little details. He also made the ride out and back more interesting by pointing out various points of historical interest.
At 25 British pounds per person (for transport only) it was a great deal, both cheaper and faster than the train/taxi route. Highly recommended.
