“Try the cinnamon”
Reviewed 31 May 2012

The museum was great, giving a good insight into Sally, but the cafe is brilliant. Try either the salmon, or the cinnamon. Both will amaze

“Good food, excellent value”
Reviewed 30 May 2012

We had the two course set early dinner menu and felt that it was excellent value for money, and the food was really good. The service was nice and it was a lovely cosy atmosphere.

“Nice food, but disappointing in comparison with other tea rooms”
Reviewed 26 May 2012 via mobile

We went to Sally lunns the day after visiting a really fabulous tea room in the near- by Bradford upon Avon, so I think my expectations may have been too high assuming they too would have waitresses in historical costumes and quaint crockery in their unique historical setting.
The food was ok.....in fact nice, but too expensive for 1/3 of a bun with a topping. The tea the was served politely, but the lengthy queue at the door and the lack of any real ambiance beyond the actual age of the building and uneven floorboards in what is obviously a catering gold mine is in MY opinion a lost opportunity to showcase Baths history in a typically British fashion promoting afternoon tea ! My opinion .....nice but nothing to rave about.
