A real find! Excellent location, nice and quiet ( having had a bad experience at another hotel in Bath) wonderful service ( Staff could not do enough for us & were delightful with our 2 children)& good value plus a real bonus with valet parking!

We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed proximity to the city could walk to most attractions in bath. We paid extra for a larger room which was good but a bit warm. Like most english hotels there is never enough power points and never one in the bathroom, had to unplug one of lights to use hair dryer in sitting room and then not enough light. Sofa was a bit smelly and had to use a bath towel to feel comfortable using it. Staff were excellent. Olive grove restaurant was good fine dining at night, but just ok for breakfast.

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us.

I am delighted that you enjoyed the location of the hotel and your evening meal at The Olive Tree Restaurant. I was surprised and concerned to read your feedback regarding the sofa in your bedroom and breakfast. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss these matters in more detail and would be grateful if you would contact me personally.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay. A warm and genuine welcome with some lovely personal touches in our room. The room was tastefully deocorated and had a great seating area. The decor is beginning to show signs of wear and tear (stains on carpet, grout in bathroom discoloured) but did not detract too much from the luxurious room with excellent quality bed linen and towels.

The lack of tea and coffee in the rooms is a shame but the facilities provided in the lounge were of a high standard.

We weren't plannin to eat in the restaurant but did so at the last minute and having not booked were lucky to get the last table. We honestly had the best meal of our lives, absolutely outstanding colours, flavours and presentation. It was truly delightful to the eye and the palate. Not to be missed if you are staying in the hotel.

The parking facilities and service were superb, being able to leave our car after checking out made a huge difference to the enjoyment of our last day in the city.

Fantastic..service, environment, privacy all were top class. well done. The hotel itself is unassuming when approaching from the street and even into the lobby...but once inside and on to the restaurant, bar, room and outside garden you realize you are in a special place.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend on our trip to Bath. Staff is so friendly and accomodative. It was his birthday -- when we arrived they had a small box and a note from the manager and staff wishing him well. I was so impressed and it was special for me. Our room was very comfortable -- lots of space, large bathroom. Some minor disappointments: Bathroom shower was clogged - ended up showering in a puddle of water. Needs some serious drainer! Bar service was slow - we wanted to have a quick bite in the bar. There were no staff there to help us. We had to get up to and find staff to serve us in the bar. These things minor -otherwise hotel was beautfiully decorated, very cosy. I would definately go back to stay there when i'm next in Bath.
