My husband took me The Marlborough Tavern for my birthday meal; It was a great choice! Jenny our waitress was smiley, polite and inattentive without being intrusive. We had pork belly, brill with a yummy fish cake and the citrus lentil side could be a stand alone dish, all delicious. But the stand out dish was a humble onion soup, so fragrant and delicate, the chef should be very proud of that! The beer and wine were good too.
