The visitor's needs have been thought about very carefully by Rosemary and the cottage arranged and decorated with real care and flair. It's compact and cosy downstairs with a roomy bedroom and very well planned bathroom with excellent shower. We didn't really cook (why bother given the food in Ludlow!) but the kitchen had everything you would need (although not much work surface for serious cooking). The garden is delightful and, despite the indifferent weather, we enjoyed looking out on it and the occasional forayto sit out beneath the castle walls. Bed very comfortable and bedroom large, light and sunny with side view across to the hills. Location - wonderful, perfect for a stroll around the castle, a walk to the river, or a visit to the shops and town. Key access is a bit awkward if you are not very mobile because its a code locked store almost at ground level - just mentioning in case that's a problem for others.

After staying a week in a similar size cottage in Wells. the welcome in Ludlow was overwhelming. All fine home made products on the table in this very charming and very nicely decorated cottage. It felt as all was new. We enjoyed obviously the pretty little back garden with his nice flowers and the whole comfort.in this lovely cottage. Close to the town center, quiet, no parking problems and well situated for touring round. (Visited Powis Castle- Dudmasten Estate-Sudely Castle- Hanbury Hall- Aberystwyth on the sea, and many places close to Ludlow). Upper Lynney was a great place to stay for us Swiss. With many
thanks to Rosemary.

“Perfect cottage in wonderful town”

The cottage is cosy but spacious, light and extremely comfortable. Everything you need is provided. We spent a lovely week there and it felt like home from home. There is no parking and the cottage is on a steep hill however we found a space easily enough just 5 mins walk away and it was never a problem. The courtyard garden in the shadow of the old town wall is an absolute joy in the evening sunshine and beautifully looked after; a measure of the care given to the whole property. The location could not be better, being a short walk from the heart of town but enough removed from the bustle to enjoy the beautiful views of the hills. Highly recommended and my thanks to Rosemary for the use of her lovely cottage.

“Charming, perfectly located, perfectly appointed”
Reviewed 12 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We were in Ludlow for a week, and this property seemed to fit the bill. It did, and then some. Tucked away just behind the church (but the bells were never a problem), the access to the town centre is impeccable - a couple of minutes up the hill and past the church. The cottage is snug, has everything you could ask for in the way of fittings and the shower might just be the best I've ever seen. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and the website for the cottage is 100% accurate.

Ideal for a couple looking for some time away in a cosy hideaway, and Ludlow itself is utterly lovely. I cannot recommend 19 Linney highly enough.

Liked best: The location, the facilities - everything
Liked least: Some might find the lack of parking outside the property a problem, but this is well-explained on the website.

“Fantastic property”
Reviewed 22 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

The property is perfectly situated, a stones throw from the centre of town. The house far exceeded our expectations in every way. The little extras that the owners provided were much appreciated, from the welcome pack on our arrival (excellent cakes by the way Rosemary!) to the DVD's and candles that were left for us to use - it all made for a perfect, romantic few days away. Well equipped kitchen and lovely secluded garden - the back wall of which is part of Ludlow castle itself! We will definitely be returning.
