“A delightful and versatile cottage in the stunning Shropshire Hills”

My husband and I have recently returned from a wonderful stay in Shropshire. The cottage is extremely warm and cosy and well equipped, in a stunning location close to Ludlow, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. It was a special treat for us having the woodburners to use in the evening; the beds were very comfortable and all furnishing and decor is in keeping with the cottagey atmosphere. All mod cons were provided in the kitchen; a huge array of DVDs games etc are provided not that we needed them as there is so much to do in the area. Plenty of maps and info on places to visit were provided and the wireless internet was a bonus. We also found mobile reception to be very good in the area. Apart from the amazing walks from the cottage doorstep and the views from nearby Clee Hill Summit, our favourite days out were to Carding Mill Valley, the Dudmaston Estate (National Trust) and Ironbridge (we went there twice as there is so much to see for all ages and especially enjoyed the tile museum and the Victorian town). We could easily have filled a second week at the cottage. We have already recommended the cottage to our neighbours.

Lovely spot, great walks from doorstep. Friendly locals.
Cottage, clean, and well equipt, great to have all needs for woodburners (x2).
Excellent communication with owners before arrival, who were very accommodating.
Would recommend.

“A cosy get away in beautiful location”

A very cosy and comfortable cottage. In the winter there are two log burners, in the summer, excellent walking virtually on your doorstep. National trust and historic places abound in the locality.

I would recommend some trays so that families can enjoy TV dinners.
I would recommend mirrors in the upstairs rooms.
