I can't find a word to express my feelings towards the hotel staff, starting from Daniel Rosier "Operations Manager" going through Claudio Benvisto "Front Office Manager" and the wonderful front office staff (Elizebeth & Dominique), because of there restless support I felt that I am in my home, food quality was the best, room cleanliness was consistent, I will miss all of you, but I am sure that we will meet again.

This is a good Hilton. The staff are really helpful and everything is as you would expect. Parking is easy as is digital check in. The room was ready early which was good. It's very easy to get a bus into Reading.

The hotel is located close to the M4 and close to the Reading city center. It is a short drive to Newbury and to London so the location is perfect. I really enjoy the staff and how well they treated us during our stay. They are all very friendly and helped us with everything we required during our stay.

We booked this hotel to stay overnight as we had a lot of spa treatments booked in for our 3rd wedding anniversary.

With it being our 3rd wedding anniversary, we booked the junior suite as we through we would get a better room....oh were we wrong.

Before you get to the hotel you get sent a text about your stay asking if you need anything for your room etc, which is a great idea.

It is a shame that the person doing the texting just insults you about your name!

But moving on from that, we get to the room which is way to hot, the air con is set to 22C or higher, but the room was way to hot, being on the 3rd floor you cant open windows or anything so you just have to wait for the room to cool down.

While unpacking our stuff, we find some dirty dishes with some type of chocolate pudding all over it (I have a bad allergy to chocolate) but you should not find dirty dishes in your room, let alone a suite type of room!

The lady come to our door to drop of some extra pillows we ordered but where not taking to the room, and we advise here about the state of the room, and all we got was a I CHECKED THIS ROOM, there is nothing room type of thing, its like a yeah go ask that housekeeper lady down there that I just given the dishes too.

We ordered room services.

The food was ok, apart from the manky lettuce and the size of the spoon to eat the ice cream is the same size of the pot you got (photo does not show this very well, but it only just fits inside the pot)

Breakfast was just something else, you wait to be seated, and we were seated next to another couple, we got up and got a full English type of breakfast and sat down and started to eat as you would do.

The couple next to use just starred and starred as us, making us very uncomfortable and we just wanted to get away from them, it was just nasty being there, but a few seconds later the server came over and dropped some vegetarian sausages off for them. I mean wow, if their know that couple was vegetarians and there had issues with people eating meat, then why the hell were we sat next to them.

We did tell people about the issues as there where happening, with very little feedback other then we let someone know.

A few hours after our stay, the Front Of House manager called me, and offered 50% off the cost of the room due to all of the issues we had.

But when you think about it, that is not much with all of the issues we had, should of been offered a free stay to make up for this one.

Room Tip: Choise another location, dont stay at this hotel.

Once again a Great stay and welcome to this hotel, spotlessly clean, spacious rooms.
Had a few issues this time, very unusual, but all the staff were very good and rectified Our issues. We stay here about 5 times a year just for a break from the normal, the staff help you feel relaxed and at home. Evening meal was very good, breakfast was a little bit down on quality, owing to not many customers in the hotel and food being left for a long time under the lights. But minor issue to be addressed.

Would highly recommend.
