I stopped using this restaurant, despite its convenient location oppose the railway station, because of a couple of poor experiences some time ago. After a lunch just before Christmas, I am happy to endorse the findings of others that once again this is a great place for a meal. A dosa and a curry, plus two good lassis and fresh papadums made for an excellent meal.
Prices are higher than on my last visit, but where aren't they as a result of inflation. Service was smooth, and the staff take orders on a tablet: there is technology at the checkout.
One tip, until they fix the door, don't sit near it as with delivery riders coming in and out to collect orders the fact that the door doesn't close properly is both irritating and lets in cold air. I have yet to try the Botley Branch, but will do so for an evening meal sometime early in the new year. think the ambiance there is a little more up-market, but I come for the food not the surroundings at a restaurant such as Dosa Park. I will be back.
