“Great house in a fantastic location”

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week break at the old school house in Milton-under-Wychwood last week. On arrival, we found a welcome basket containing a selection of local cheeses, bread, cakes and biscuits, as well as a nice bottle of wine. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking ingredients as well as the essentials - tea, coffee, milk etc.
Our 2 year old boy loved the local park which is a 5 minute walk - great for young kids.
Great location - plenty to do within a short radius.

Best holiday rental we have been to in a long while.

“A lovely cottage!”
Reviewed 30 July 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely cottage in April 2015. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and all the little extras really made us feel at home. The kitchen is very well equipped and cottage is decorated beautifully. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

“Quaint village location”
Reviewed 26 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Clean and well maintained. Welcome basket on arrival with items from the local Co-Op. Property location was ideal, close enough to drive to places like Blenheim and Stow-On-the-Wold. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful front yard. Free parking on the street or in the drive. The Fish and Chip van (Thursdays only) at the local park is a must! Well appointed kitchen.

Worth mentioning:
The property located adjacent to parish church with view of the small cemetery.
Sat. Nav couldn't locate the address. MapFactor: GPS Navigation app, though could and was relied on heavily for directions.

“Good place to stay for a couple/small group.”
Reviewed 24 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Milton-under-wychwood is a bit out of the way if you're staying in the Cotswolds to visit towns/houses/castles, as the town itself is newer and you'll have to drive 10+ minutes away everytime you want to get to restaurants, sights, etc. This rental is very nice, very well kept up, very clean and overall a great place to stay. Only three things to bring up 1. heater is on a timer and we woke up every morning to a very cold house, as the heater did not turn on (enough) overnight. The manager and the caretaker helped to fix this, but it didn't solve it. 2. Bathroom has no place to put your toiletries except for inside of the tub/shower area. So you'll have to carry your toothbrush/comb/etc in and out multiple times a day. 3. Dryer is out in the shed, and there are huge pigeons roosting right above the shed entrance and make a daily mess of the ground where you step in/out, along with the car if you park over there.

“The cosy relaxing fantastic old school house”
Reviewed 4 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

The moment we entered the old school house we new we were going to have a fantastic new year, we felt at home and relaxed as everything was perfect and there was a nice hammer on arrival, we picked the cottage for its location and it didn't let us down we got out and about visited some parks and also just visited some local villages, there was a local guide left with ideas for days out and eating. There were footpaths near by and the roads were quite for a bit of bike riding , the cottage was well equipped , very clean decor and comfy beds .
