This place is something else, from booking the accommodation over the phone and being checked in. This place really is top class from the service and the rooms. The hotel is ideally located for food and entertainment. Thank you very much for making our stay amazing.

Decided to have a last minute night out in Nottingham with some old friends and hubby. Booked this hotel 2 nights before we needed it and it was only £75 for a Friday which was a bargain. We weren't sure if there was a car park so after a quick call we found out there was. We found the hotel no problem as we have been in Nottingham many times. Only issue is that the car park is very small and there was only one car parking space left. Which was good news for us but not for the person who was behind us. I think they ended up parking on the street which I know we wouldn't have been happy with. Once in the car park there is a valet that will come to find you a space which was a bit odd as we could have figured that out for ourselves. We parked up and then went up the odd lift to reception. Lovely welcome and very friendly. She offered us all the usual things you expect, paper, wake up call and offered us breakfast as we had decided not to have it there. Our room was on the 2nd floor and on the front over looking Nottingham and the view was pretty amazing. Even though it was boiling hot outside the room wasnt' too bad and you are supplied a desk fan. The room was very clean and had all the mod cons we needed. There is a mini bar in the room which was nice. We had a great night out and even though we went back to the room at midnight it was pretty quiet and the bar was still open. After a good nights sleep we checked out in the morning which was quick. Would recommend staying here and will stay again

A hidden gem. Hotel very pretty with stunning views . Staff very welcoming & attentive. Small rooms, but that’s to be expected with a boutique hotel.
We are regular vistitors to Nottingham , but we have never stayed as a couple in this hotel. My partner has on several occasions due to work.
He booked this hotel & a garden room as a treat for my birthday. . The stay was slightly spoiled by the fact that the guests in the next room were smokers & the smoke from them smoking on their patio filled our room which for non smoker is very unpleasant! Perhaps smoking could be restricted to the public areas . It was 35 degrees & we had to close the patio doors.. also maybe the grounds man could wait until after guest check out to start attending to watering plants, cleaning paths etc. I felt our privacy wasn’t respected . On the whole a gorgeous hotel, however I would think twice about paying extra for a garden room in future

Used this Hotel as a base during Graduation season. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfast crew I felt looked after you well. Rooms are small but it is a boutique kinda place. Stains on the carpet around the bedside tables were not great. Let down by no air con, fan was supplied but very loud when you are trying to fall asleep. You have to pay for the water in the room which is usually complementary in other 4 stars I have stayed in and in this heat would have been a nice touch. Parking space is a premium so get in early and you pay per night which I think could have been less. In essence, I came away thinking I had paid for the view.....

This is a good hotel with all the mod-cons except for air conditioning. The quality of the room was very good and the location was very central. We had a lovely view also. We will stay here the next time we return. Go for the suite if you can as the space is well worth the extra cost. It is pity they do not have AC and the only other thing I would suggest improving is the TV viewing option as it would have been nice to have more channels available on the TV as thy only have the basic cable.
