We visited in the Easter holidays and made the mistake of leaving it too late to book fast track tickets online so experienced a que of about 40 minutes. Staff were great at chatting to people and keeping the line moving alone. Like other reviewers I was expecting a bit more. The initial room was a bit crowded and more info for you to read would be good. The ride itself is brilliant and brings it all to life. Again the bit after the ride is quite crowded and I was expecting a bit more. I think we were waiting as long as we were in and the price is quite steep for the length of time you are there and in comparison to York castle museum it’s not as good. There is not doubt the ride is brilliant but feel the rest could have been so much more.

Wow amazing the work and dedication that has gone into this exhibition has to be seen to believe. I strongly recommend that you book on line and get the fast pass if not you could be in a long queue. Having said that it is worth the wait and the figures are so realistic as you ride round the exhibition you have a screen that has subtitles so the hearing impaired understands what is being said .

Buy your tickets online to avoid very long queues. Even with a time slot you will queue a little and not get in exactly at the time you book. It's a fantastic experience. Really interesting for all ages. We ranged in age from 10 to 78 years and all got something from it.

We visited on Easter Monday and arrived just after 10 (opened at 10) and the queue was already huge. Unfortunately it was pouring it down with rain but we stood waiting as the little one really wanted to visit. The centre came along with brollies for people waiting as some of the waiting area is out in the open.

The centre was not what we expected and I think we all agreed we were expecting a traditional museum but it wasn’t like that it has a quirky ride with animatronics plus some real actors in there , very different.

We enjoyed it all the same but it really wasn’t that long even with the specimens part and we stopped and listened to a talk we were done in just over an hour.

It was probably just a really busy time to choose but the first room was rammed with people.
