Was a last minute booking - we called on the afternoon to book for the evening. There were 4 of us and we took a corner table in the window. Had been worried about the reported cramped surrounding but it was fine. We were sat near a boarded up door which was drafty but it didnt bother us. Might have in winter. I had calamari and toto pasta and both were excellent. The highest priced red wine at £20.00 ish was really excellent and we had too bottles as it was so nice. Very drinkable and went well with the menu. Prices were average and I would return.

Have visited several times over past few years as it's very handy for The Barbican & is close to where my daughter lives. The staff have always been friendly & efficient. The food is good & value for money.

Pre show meal, and it was fantastic. The space is a little intimate but it's cosy and really has a great feel to the whole place. The food was amazing, I had the Tagliatelle Vegetariana and my friend has the Lamb shank and it was just so tasty, just what we needed. Would definitely eat here again and would recommend anybody in the area to check it out!

I had booked a table for 4 before our theatre visit. As one of our party is has a few mobility problems, her partner was concerned that our table was up the steep stairs, but then it was pointed out that the toilets were also upstairs - but she made it up!

The shared starter of garlic pizza was delicious as were the other 2 pizze which 2 of us had. Really thin crispy base just like you get in Italy. My Pollo Amatriciana was ok but I have had better - it was a bit bland. Excellent puddings - Tiramisu, Meringue with ice cream and raspberry coulis - delicious!

The service was efficient but we did get the feeling that we were being rushed all the time and one waitress in particular gave the impression of being a bit impatient!

But the pizza and the puds made up for that!
