“Room a bit on the small side due to shower room built into the corner”
Reviewed 29 August 2012

Our room had a lovely view of The Abbey, had tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits, hairdryer and all the toiletries we needed but it could do with a bit of tlc. The bathroom was very 'cosy' so not much room to maneuver and the fan is a nuisance if you want to put the light on in the middle of the night! The window is too high to open and close easily and takes 2 people to do it. However, the breakfast is fantastic and the owners very friendly and I guess for what we paid it really was OK for a quick overnight visit. I have never heard such noisy seagulls though and they really don't stop all night so did keep waking me up!

Stayed for one night in the family room with some friends. Alison was very welcoming, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Alison was very knowledgable of the local area.
The room and the whole guest house was very clean. Good location because the guest house is quite central.
Lovely nights sleep as it was very quiet.
You have to meet the chef Andy as his breakfast is excellent! I found that the breakfast ingredients were all fresh and of high quality.
I would recommend and stay again myself.
Many thanks,
Mandy from Hull, East Yorkshire

Room Tip: Family room can be made into 3 single beds rather than one double and a single when requested.

We stayed in the family room on the second floor and clever idea of joining a smaller single room onto a double creating a family room with the useful addition of a bunk bed. This gave the kids a bit of their own space and us a little bit of peace. Breakfast is served at 0830hrs onwards do not arrive downstairs early....The breakfast is great with a good choice of all the normal things that make B&Bs great. On a minus note and this is a small thing the decor is a little worn the hallway window had crumbling masonary in the window sill and our sash window was in need of a little attention. All in all a great stay with a lovely guest house.

First time at Seacrest, stayed 5 nights and would definately recommend. Alison and Andy really friendly and competent. Good breakfasts, promptly served, in pleasant dining room. Our room sparkling clean, fresh, airy, full of light, nicely decorated, with a view of the Abbey and the sea. The beach is at the end of the road, 2 minutes walk. Free parking.
