“Perfect place to stay to explore Whitby.”
Reviewed 10 March 2017 for a stay in August 2016

What a wonderful holiday we had in Whitby. The Nook was an amazing little house, perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 girls.) The location was amazing, great for exploring the old cobbled streets of the old town and for access to the cathedral. Only a very short walk over the bridge to the seafront and beach.
The accommodation comprised of a full equipped kitchen, dining area/ lounge. Double and twin room (bunk beds) downstairs and another double room upstairs. The Nook was clean and tidy and very comfortable and warm. I can not fault this place for charm, location and general feel and functionality. 10/10

“We loved it and we made great memories here xx”
Reviewed 10 January 2017 for a stay in August 2015

Family of 4 from just down the road...we drove for roughly 45 minutes to get to this little gem of a place, we made wonderful memories and we slept in comfort and warmth. Our little dog loved her stay too. Mornings were spent browsing the lovely Whitby shops and walks that sometime led into the afternoon. Luckily we had sunshine the entire week of our stay so we enjoyed a BBQ in the sweet little garden. Hubby made some yummy hot dog's and burgers/chicken for us all and one afternoon we had a Roast pork lunch inside the cottage itself. We had no issue's with noise as it is perfectly tucked away from the busy crowds/noises etc. Our last few days were spent just enjoying being with each other in such a special cottage in wonderful Whitby.. we couldn't leave without fish and chips of course so we indulged in some from a fish and chip shop that were fantastic in customer service in re to food allergies. We love the nook not only for all that I have just stated but we like to go self catering for our little one who has food allergies including other members of the family. So a big thank you. 'The Nook' has become a special memory in our lives and for that reason alone we would love to return again in the future....take care xx

“Lovely little hideaway”
Reviewed 5 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

Warm, cosy and clean & tidy when we arrived and was just what we wanted. We took advantage of the free parking at the Abbey and car parks after 6pm, so was not a major issue. Nice change to have a cottage with HD TV and Sky too.

“A comfortable relaxed cottage in the perfect location.”
Reviewed 23 November 2016 for a stay in November 2016

Great location and a comfortable relaxed stay in a lovely character cottage. Me and my friends had a great weekend away. We ate and drank well locally. Fish and chips on Friday night and pizza at Moutrey on Saturday night. We love this cottage and shopped buying Xmas items and gifts.

Only thing was, even though we had parking permits there was nowhere locally to park as cars were parked on all the roads nearby. We ended up parking on the West Cliff and getting a taxi to and from the cottage with our belongings which was annoying.

“Excellent cottage ”
Reviewed 4 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Great facilitates more like a hotel than a cottage we had a great couple of days and would stay again. Pets were well catered for and the cottage even had sky TV!
