Overview:
Hospitality:5/5
Cleanliness:5/5
Accommodation:5/5
Facilities:4/5
Location:5/5

Context:

Hospitality:
The owners, Joanne and John, are very welcoming people and make you feel at home instantly. They provide everything you need and leave you to enjoy your holiday. There is enough reading material that tells you anything you might want to do in or around peaks and pods.

Cleanliness:
Everything is spotlessly clean when we arrived, cleaning products are readily available and sufficient for the duration of your stay.

Accommodation:
As cuteness goes you can do much better than peaks and pods. Everything about peaks and pods brings a warm wholesome feeling to it. The pods are small but not claustrophobic and provide everything you need. The design of the pods are well thought out.

Facilities:
The showers could be a little more powerful but they are sufficiently warm enough to be enjoyable. The beds feel like their made of memory foam mattresses. There is enough basic cooking utensils to get by but if you’re looking to make some complex meals then you may need to bring some of your own stuff.

Location:
Peaks and pods is quite more isolated than I originally thought but not inconveniently so. Is isolated enough to enjoy the peace and quite of the countryside and views but close enough to shops and tourist destinations.

Other key points:
Phone signal is excellent.
No WiFi.
You will need to buy your own food to cook there.
You are expected to clean your pods before you leave.
We stayed in ‘Two Acre Bit’ which is one of the smallest pods.
Other bigger pods provide more luxuries.
It can get a bit windy there so a big jacket would be handy.

A fab few days with my Dad and Sister! The wonderfully thought out pod was charming, homey and more than comfortable to accommodate the three of us! A little haven in the middle of nowhere. The surrounding villages are picturesque with fab pubs and friendly people and the Ingleton Waterfalls trail is stunning! Joanne and John couldn't have done anything more - Thank you so much and we hope to be back again one day!

Excellent location. Very private. Very clean. Very well equipped - thought of everything! Cake was a nice welcome and delicious.
People who own it are friendly and helpful.
Will definitely go back if I can manage to book because it's so busy!
Fabulous and the snow was a bonus!

A big thank you for your comments about your stay Karen. It's lovely to read such a positive review about what we have to offer - even with snow and the Mini Beast from the East! (The snow does make the hills look pretty though!) We'd love to welcome you back to Peaks and Pods. Thanks again!

Where do I begin! Peaks and Pods was our first pod experience and it exceeded all expectations. What a lovely, clean, well presented place. The pod was spacious, clean, warm and bright. You have your own facilities, plus a tv with DVD player and radiator which gets the pod snug in no time. We needed to use the car lots but this wasn’t a problem, so many beautiful places to eat nearby. Would hugely recommend Game Cock Inn (Austwick) and The Lion (Settle)! We would LOVE to return. Thank you

It's lovely to get such good feedback - thank you. I'm glad that your first pod experience was so positive and that it exceeded your expectations. You're right that the pods are cosy, even in cold weather. We're lucky in this area to have some excellent places to eat, and next time you come we'll have to give you more recommendations. (We like testing them out! ;))

I booked a pod for my partner's birthday surprise and we were lucky enough to be just in time for ours to have a hot tub (at an additional cost). He was so pleased with everything and it's safe to say we had an absolutely perfect weekend - we didn't even bother finding restaurants for our evening meals as there was everything we needed to cook ourselves and a lovely nearby supermarket.
The pod was clean, cosy and welcoming with some nice extra touches and our hosts were really helpful. Our only disappointment was that we used the hot tub too late to get to appreciate the views as it got dark early - however we will definitely be revisiting in the summer!

So glad that you and your partner enjoyed your stay. What a nice surprise! The hot tub was new at Corn Bents when you stayed and you're right - the views are lovely! We often find that people like to cook for themselves at the pods and hopefully you had everything you needed. Thanks for your great review and we look forward to seeing you when the nights are lighter!
