Spent a couple of nights here and found it to be an interesting and pleasant stay.
The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city, we were well placed to walk into Norwich city center.
There are only two rooms, which were uniquely furnished and eccentric.
Finally the full English breakfast was very tasty.
Would certainly go back.

This was our fourth visit to this delightful B & B, situated in a gated courtyard. It's high
standards are as good as ever. Clive is an excellent host and always makes sure you
are well cared for. Add to this a lovely resident cat called Khmer, what more could you ask for.

We spent two wonderful nights with our lovely and generous hosts Clive and Khmer the cat. Everything about Gothic House speaks to a love of the building, history and of style and design. The location is brilliant. Close to the marvellous Cathedral and Castle, great restaurants and historic lanes of Norwich. Breakfast was superb and everything about our room and accommodation faultless. Clive is a great host and wonderful raconteur and we enjoyed lively conversation. We discovered 2 days was not enough to see all that Norwich has to offer and we will be back and we would not stay anywhere other than Gothic House. Thank you Clive and Khmer

I haven't updated my report on the wonderful upmarket Bed & Breakfast for a while, yet I have returned again and again. The Gothic house remains a delight: clean, stylish, unique, welcoming.... the rooms as comfortable as ever, with spotless linen, great tea making facilities (including fresh milk, fresh fruit and biscuits), amazingly comfortable bed...The bathrooms are pristine, with lovely Molten Brown products to use.. The breakfasts are where the owner Clive comes into his own: an array of fresh fruits and cereals, and cooked breakfasts to order, locally sourced where possible.
The Gothic House is almost worth a trip to Norwich to sample in its own right, but makes a trip for whatever reason that bit better.

We stayed at Gothic House for 2 nights last week and were rewarded by an experience beyond just finding a roof over our head.
Clive is a thoroughly unique host; a thoughtful, intelligent addition to an immaculate property.
The stay could not have been bettered.
