professional friendly service, large room with really comfortable bed, fantastic location, what more can you ask for.

Room Tip: ask for a riverside view, you won't be disappointed.

This hotel does exactly what it needs to and exactly what you expect it to. No more, no less.

I have stayed in this hotel now for 3 site visits in the Norwich area. The staff are always welcoming on reception and as helpful as they can be (most of my issues have been due to my company booking rooms)

The rooms are again the same as any premier inn in so much that they are comforable and functional and have the benefit of AC.

The location has its good sides and its bad. On the up there is the river side location, a 2 min walk gets you to the "riverside" this is a recreational area that has a cinema, bowling ally, gym and various eateries. A tem min walk in the other direction will get you into Norwich city cent.

On the down side is that the hotel is located on Prince of Whales Rd. I have personally not had any issues here during the week however this road has a bit of a reputaion as being a bit rough with a high crime rate. Although personally i have found it to be all but dead during the week.

The bar resturant on site offers reasonable pub type grub but is a little expensive. The same is also true of breakfast however the welcome at breakfast is worth a few quid in its own rite.

Stayed here for one night, hotel is good but a bit dated in parts, staff were friendly, my room was big (415) the TV was loose and I had to wedge the phone under it! The lift was slow and jumped a bit (as did I).

Location is a couple of minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the shopping area, bars/nighclubs are on the same road as the hotel.

Had breakfast which was normal premier inn fare always good value.

Overall this is a great location for cemtral Norwich

The check in staff bent over backwards to allow us an early check in, we arrived early due to lack of holiday traffic! Onsite coffee house was nice and the free parking was the deciding factor as we were travelling by motorcycle.

Room Tip: Pillows are soft - or I have a heavy head, lol!

First impressions-bit of a monstrosity! Staff are great and this made up for the hotel itself. Hotel was clean but very dated. First room we couldnt open the window so they put us next door, overlooking the river. Do NOT be fooled in to booking a room for the river view, it was very noisy, all night. So either you put up with the noise or suffocated with the window closed. Next morning we asked to be moved again and were put in to a lovely room on the side with a small balcony which would have been great had the previous occupant ( and several others judging by the fag butts on the grass verge outside) were smokers. Having said that, the beds were comfortable and we were so tired from not sleeping the night before we slept a lot better, even with the window closed . Its not (as we were told) a 10 minute walk in to town, yes if you're training for the Olympic speed walking but otherwise 5 minutes on a bus up a big hill (less than a couple of pounds for myself and my daughter) I would possibly stay here again if only for the location, a couple of minutes walk from the train station and also for the staff who were fantastic.
Food in restaurant was what you'd expect, good value for the meal deal.
Memo to the bosses: please upgrade the loo roll in the rooms, it was definitely not a case of less is more and a false economy as you had to use three times as much!

Room Tip: If you like your sleep, book a room on the quiet side, although this is looking over the carpark.
