Can't recommend this place enough! We visited on Saturday & had an amazing time. The staff couldn't do enough for us, all the way through from booking to on the evening, and the venue is so breathtakingly beautiful. The food was delicious & this is now one of my most favourite places in Norwich. Thanks so much to the team, we had the best time!

Popped in late morning on Sunday intending to grab a quick coffee but it looked so nice that we went upstairs to stay for a bite to eat.
Water was brought to our table straight away. The waitress was totally on the ball, polite and friendly. We both had a flat white which was perfect. Then opted for the Roast. Overall really enjoyed the Roast but we both agreed it could maybe do with one more component to look forward to on the plate and the reflect the price.
We will definitely come back to Erpingham House to try further dishes and their Cocktails.

We had high hopes considering all of the exciting new vegan restaurants in Norwich. This place didn't live up to the expectations. The food from the restaurant was ok but overpriced. The menu is uninspiring. It's disappointing that despite the no plastic ethos so much plastic was used. Uncomfortable plastic chairs and a plastic tea cup. The cafe served food in a single use cardboard pot even though we ate in.

Free from single use plastic. Despite obvious signage explaining this it still eludes people. We make significant efforts to enforce this. If you’re eating from cafe menu, it’s served in veg ware containers which are made from plants & at £6.50 per lunch dish are comparably extremely cheap. Thanks for your feedback.

Visited with our sister who’s vegan, having eaten at some of the other vegan choices in Norwich which frankly are poor Erpingham House came highly recommended. This restaurant is in a fab location, delightfully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. The irony that this was previously a Meat eaters haven in Norwich is wonderful. The food is actually very good if not a little safe. We all enjoyed the foods on offer although more range would would be nice. The chilli bowl i had was incredibly flavoursome but I have had better made at home. It also cost £16... seriously expensive for a bowl of nachos and some veg chilli. The pad thai was ok but you would get a better vegan pad Thai at Take Thai on Dereham road.
Pudding was pleasant but again overpriced. £6.50 for a small banana chopped in half with some honeycomb, a scoop of Swedish glaze and coconut cream. Nice flavours but far to expensive.

The service was okay if not a little forgetful at times for cutlery, drinks etc but it was so busy and they were very warm, polite and attentive.

All in all it was a nice evening but they have a captive audience. A little more competition would be good to see, I really do hope that perhaps they could visit Brighton to sample some of the amazing adventurous vegatatian/vegan restaurants who’s food is sublime and not overpriced such as Terre á terre.

Our vegan sister loved it.. so I am sure we shall return. Just hope they can do more...

I hope they get rid of the awful seethrough and uncomfortable plastic chairs
