“Great Apartment in central Kilburn”
Reviewed 24 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We were a group of 7 & stayed here for 6 nights. We chose this apartment because it looked great in the pics & had 3 bedrooms & 3 washrooms (not very common in London). Firstly, Mark (manager) was extremely helpful & welcoming. We had absolutely no issues in booking the apartment or during our check in/check out.

The apartment has a wonderful Living Room with a dining table, connecting open kitchen & a casual seating area for 4-5 people. There are 3 bedrooms (2 small & 1 master bedroom). 2 washrooms are en-suite & the 3rd one is right next to the rooms.

When we checked in, the apartment was spotless & looked fresh. The tube station is a nice 5-7 mins walk. The Kilburn High street is 5 minutes away where you have a few cafe's/pizzeria's/retail stores etc. On the other side of the apartment (10-15 mins walk) there's Queen's Park, which is slightly upmarket and has a few good cafe's for coffee/breakfast. There is enough cutlery provided in the kitchen. There is a hair dryer/iron/ironing board provided.

The beds could have been a little more comfortable, especially the one in the master bedroom. The pillows are very light & flat, which I personally dont like.

You can reach Bond Street within 15-20 mins by tube. Wembley is about 10 mins by tube.

Overall a great experience. I'll highly recommend this place for 5-7 people.

“Fully equipped apartment in excellent location”
Reviewed 18 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Our family of four (including two teenagers) stayed in the apartment for 3 nights and had plenty of space. The main living area in particular is comfortable and well equipped for relaxing after a busy day on the tourist trail.

The on street parking (£5 per day) was very welcome, allowing us to drive from Sheffield and leave the car parked during our stay. Kilburn tube station is only a ten minute walk away and on the Jubilee line which made travelling into the city centre extremely easy. We used our contactless visa cards which work just like Oyster cards with the added advantage that you don't need to pay in advance. We'd certainly use the flat again or rent from the same owners, who provided great customer service.

“Almost enough room in almost the perfect spot.”

The proximity to the underground made this apartment great for getting into and around the city. The Jubilee Line takes you straight downtown. Get an Oyster card. The main street also had a number of grocery stores which is invaluable when renting a home vs a hotel room.

Cons: Not quite enough room for 6, as two bedrooms has queen beds, one bedroom has 2 twins, so one of my kids was sleeping on the sleeper sofa in the living room, which left us to sit at the dining table for all our gathering time in the morning and the evening.

The kitchen cupboards are not cleaned out regularly. One of the first things we do when we arrive is go through the kitchen cabinets to see what we need to purchase from the store for breakfast foods and snacks. The freezer was severely over-iced with some unidentifiable items, there were foods in the fridge that were moldy, and in the cabinets only a handful items were not open packages of unknown open dates (beyond the expected coffee and tea). The neighborhood is a tiny bit sketchy. At least it has the sense of being sketchy. Having said that, we had NO problems with anyone or anything, even walking back late at night. The grocery store at the corner is open until midnight which is a blessing.

Pros: Nice layout. Umbrellas are provided. There is a dishwasher and washing tablets. The mattresses are comfortable, the showers are great. Leave your shoes by the door (which everyone should do anyway). A tower of guides and maps are available.

Be warned: You will be expected to clean up a little more than usual. Vacuum the floors, throw the used towels in the shower. Don't use the white towels for wiping anything that might stain. I'd recommend to the owners that if you welcome families with kids of any age, that bringing in a little color could relieve a little stress from not messing things up too much.
