Perhaps hotel was a misnomer - it felt more like a bed and breakfast with just 11 rooms in the entire hotel. We were allocated the "Club Room" which was situated just one floor (basement) below the reception.
First the cons - as we were just situated below the reception and the main entrance, and the main entrance door was quite heavy, there was a loud bang everytime someone opened the door - which was quite irritating after a while. The hotel is also quite dated, and there was not much of a view from our room (since it was in the basement).
Next the pros - despite being dated, the room was clean. The staff were also friendly (although the reception is not manned all the time) and were keen to greet us when we entered and left the hotel. The location was also very central, and it is situated a mere 5 mins walk from Victoria station and coach station.
Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at the hotel, and given the price point, it offered very good value for money. We would stay again if we were ever in London.More
