A very pleasant park which is part of the Green Chain Walk that stretches across south-east London. The park contains flower borders, children’s play area, and tennis courts. There are nice walks within the park, some of which are on an elevated position with views over the River Thames towards the City of London, and during our visit there were lots of families enjoying a picnic. A short walk away can be found Maryon Wilson Animal Park and Charlton Park. To get there take bus 380 from either Lewisham or Woolwich (this actually stops between the two Maryon Parks), or there are a number of other buses going from Greenwich and Woolwich.
