It was the second time we stayed here. The first time (in 2007) we already loved the Hoxton. The staff is great, the rooms are big enough and clean. The small breakfast is fine for a short stay (but you might want something different when you stay for more then 2 nights), the restaurant and the bar are a big plus. But the best thing about the hotel is the location: we love the East End, with all the nice bars and restaurants, Spitalfields market, Brick Lane, etc. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Station, which is great when you get into London with the Stansted Express. When you want to go into the city centre and want to visit the main attractions of London, you just take the tube at Old Street. On a Saturday night, the Hoxton is also a great place to go out. The bar was pretty full and vibrant, when we were there. We slept on the 4th flour and didn't here sounds of the party crowd (we actually didn't here many sounds at all, the rooms are pretty sound proof). We will absolutely come back when we visit London.
