This is a decent choice for London. Stayed for a business trip where I pretty much just slept and left. For this, the room was fine. Bigger than I have normally found in London, the decoration was fine (calm, neutral colors) and the room was clean. The only negative point was that it was noisy. I was in a basement room (which was fine since I arrived late and left early) and the air conditioner and the water pipes were noisy. Everyone was super friendly and they kept asking what I thought. Aside from the noise (which seems to plague all hotel rooms in London), breakfast was the only real negative point; there wasn't coffee or tea to be found anywhere. (I didn't have time to hunt it down.) I would recommend this hotel and would probably stay again for business.

Room Tip: Room 2 (basement) was noisy. Try another one!

A simply top rate hotel in a quiet area, yet conveniently close to the shops of Oxford street. Tastefully decorated, with friendly and helpful staff. My wife and I stayed in one of the smaller 'comfy' rooms. Small, but very clean with a very comfortable bed - my wife being an excellent judge of such things given that she was 5 months pregnant at the time! Warmly recommended.

This place is a good choice for all purposes. If you want to enjoy London and stay a decent place, and doesn't care much about the room size, do not hesitate. The staff was very assistive.

We spent a night in a Swanky Room on the second floor just after Easter and couldn't have been happier with the experience. We arrived early and they had a room ready for us, and as we had a late train to Paris, the following day they also stored our bags for us. Its close location to Baker St Station meant any easy connection to the Eurostar.

The staff at reception and at breakfast couldn't have been friendlier and were eager to be of service. The room was large, clean, well equipped including WiFi in the room and comfortable. The creams and toiletries and large bathroom was such a relief after the tiny rooms in Paris.

The breakfast was excellent with a range of breads, cereals, croissants and eggs cooked to order. The fact that it was a listed building and not some large generic hotel also added greatly to the atmosphere.

We picked the Hotel based on the Tripadvisor recommendations and they were spot on.

Room Tip: get a Swanky room that faces the street

Tucked away in the very accessible Marleybone (and close to 2 Tube stops) this charming boutique hotel is distinguished by its gracious British service. From the front desk staff to the young women serving breakfast, they did everything humanly possible to provide us with an inviting and comfortable stay. The breakfast is worth taking, with a lovely fresh buffet of delicious breads, fruit, all the extras and eggs made to order that you can enjoy in a charmingly British lounge overlooking a quaint street. They'll serve you from their little well-stocked bar any time day or night and help with any other requests. We stayed on the top floor (there is some street noise from a block away, but after the first night we didn't notice it) which does involve a 4 flight hike, but this is easily tolerated. This little gem of a hotel took the edge off the discomforts of travel - we certainly will return!
