Stayed in this B&B due to work travel in the nearby Whetstone area. Chose this rather than going to the Travellodge in Whetstone, and I think overall I made the right decision. It is basically some terraced houses joined together, which makes the internal hallways rather interesting, but easy to find the rooms as everything's signposted. It has a nice reception area with very helpful and attentive staff. the room was a nice size, and had an en-suite with bath/shower and all was very clean. A good sized flat screen tv was on the wall, and also had coffee making facilities as well as free wi-fi. Breakfast was good, with full English (I do miss the Haggis in a full Scottish breakfast though!) and a good selection of cereals and fruit / juices. Breakfast staff were again exceptionally attentive, making sure everyone had tea/coffee/toast etc. Location wise, this is only 5 mins walk from Woodside Park station on the Northern line, and has Sainsburys and many nice restaurants close by - the Sushi place just round the corner had exceptionally nice food! I enjoyed the time I spent in the Glenlyn and would gladly return when in the area again.

Very handy B&B and apartments. Close to restaurants of almost all continents, pubs, banks, bus and underground. There is a Sainsbury's Superstore within 200 meters.
Internet is included in room tariff.
In the morning the breakfast had sufficient choice and the coffee and toast was delivered very promptly to our table. Two small personal quibbles about the breakfast: there were no morning papers available, and the choice of foods did not change in our 7 night stay.
Over breakfast we watched the squirrels run along the back fence.
Would recommend this B&B to people who want to want a smaller establishment than many of the large chain hotels, and who want to stay in a very cosy room in a very nicely renovated English Victorian style building.

Room Tip: Many rooms seem to require navigation of several sets of stairs.

Every time we go to London from now on, this is where we shall stay.
The staff are everything you could ask for, friendly, cheerful and helpful.
The breakfast was good with the best sausages I've ever had.
A short walk to the Northern line tube in one direction and a range of restaurants in the other direction.
A bonus was that we were upgraded to an apartment, without our requesting it.

This is a real gem! Tube just a few minutes walk away. Spotlessly clean with a great buffet breakfast in a beautiful conservatory...if you're lucky enough to be there when the weather's warm you can eat breakfast outside in their lovely garden area.

North Finchley shopping is just a stone's throw away, as are some really good restaurants.

Why pay London City prices when this place is such a find - thoroughly recommended, and has the added advantage of free parking too...look no further - you will NOT be disappointed.

Room Tip: If you want a garden view best to book early, but the hotel location is generally quiet.
