We arrived to the owner still finishing up the preparations for our arrival even though we were later than our agreed check in time.
Once we had a chance to look through the house we found it was very dirty, every surface area had dust and 'bits' wether it was food, hair, old spills etc, the bathroom sink was filthy with a clump of hair and stuff in the plug,
There was no living room just a two seat sofa facing the kitchen and a tv up on the wall high next the the sofa, in such a way that rendered the tv useless. It had multiple wires and cables hanging down and across the wall to a big clump of electrical cables and sockets on the floor in the 'living space' which made the apartment very unsafe especially with children
WIFI did not work for us even though my husband is very tech savvy. Fridge appeared to be leaking with water on the floor. One of the worst things was the the front door could not be locked with a key from the inside as the keyhole was jammed full of something like paper, this meant the only way to lock it once inside was to the lift the handle up. Something which my 2 year old daughter could undo very easily when we discovered her on the door step within half an hour of our arrival. Needless to say we did not stay, we left immediately, the owners were very difficult and 'Holiday Letting' had to mediate a suitable resolution for the situation which took a lot of time
