I came up to London for the celebrations and booked this hotel in a hurry one might say. They gave me a lower ground floor room which was tiny. Didn't get any sleep due to street noise and I could hear them clattering around in the kitchen in the mornig as this room was near the dining room.
So anybody coming here avoid a room on the lower ground floor, yes it is being redecorated so is quite clean and I suppose it is in a handy area.
Not being an expert on London I suppose you will get hotels overcharging just because it is London, the breakfast was ok but as it had been sitting there it was cold (yuk) nothing worse than a cold fried breakfast and no offer of more coffee/tea.
Compared to when I stayed in a hotel in Jersey and what the breakfast was like there I was not impressed.
