I stayed in March 2012 for 4 nights (3 separate checkins), after staying previously in 2010. The hotel is in a great location - quiet but close to the tube/train at Paddington. There are plenty of restaurants/shops near by too. The room was small (this is London) but adequate. There was free wifi, left luggage (which is much cheaper than at Paddington), and breakfast included. Also, the room and shared bathroom were both clean. The staff were very helpful and I would definetly recommend this to friends/family.

Room Tip: There is no lift, so you might want to request lower floor rooms if you have heavy luggage.

Small rooms with little space for luggage which, in the absence of an elevator, needed to be transported up two and a half flights of stairs. Walls not thick enough to exclude sound from the TV and conversation in the adjacent room. Adequate cold buffet breakfast included in the room price. Free wifi ( on the landing outside our room) was a pleasant surprise and the hotel is quite close to Queensway underground( Central line) and is a fifteen minute walk from Paddington railway station and the Heathrow Express. It is also very close to an entrance to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. It is not an expensive hotel and, I believe, would best suit a fit single traveller with minimal luggage looking for a short stay in an average hotel.

I stayed at Caring Hotel mid-March 2012. The hotel is in a great location, 10 minutes walk from 3 tubes - the one I used was Lancaster Gate. It is on the central line, few stops to March Arch and Oxford Street. The reception is very helpful. The room was large and spacious (compared with other London rooms). It was kept tidy. The bed was decent and of a good size. The bathroom was bare but basic. Large bath tub. The tv screen was a tft but extremely small. The breakfast was very basic - toast, coffee, juice - but it was included in the price so one cannot complain. A few minor suggestions to Caring - thicker curtains for people who might want to sleep in late and extend breakfast to 10 a.m. Not much to complain however. The price was nearly 50 euros per day cheaper than other rooms of comparable value in the same location. I can understand why the great reviews proviso that one does not expect frills - porter , safe, mini bar, restaurant or buffet breakfast, lift.

Room Tip: No lift, so lower floors would be better.

I went there in August 2010 . This is a very nice place and good location. And of course not very far from the famous Primark. The staff is very helpful and smiling. I would really recommand this place to friends.
