We stayed here due a promotion on Travel Zoo. We were very pleased with the hotel and you could tell it was very new.
The walk from Temple underground station is quite long if you have heavy bags, even with wheels, but as you walking along the Thames, it makes for a pleasant start to a holiday.
if you are business travelling, or the weather is adverse, then travelling to Blackfriars will give you a better chance of getting a taxi to the front door.

We stayed in a standard double.

Positive Points

Bed is enormous and very comfortable. (the pillows were too full, but I never asked for a softer option, they may provide one!)
Great bar, very modern and lots of tables to chat around.
Very central, a short walk from the Theatre district, Covent Garden and Leicester Square.
A real Luxury 'feel' to the whole hotel

Negatives
The building works going on next door were intrusive on the Saturday and the collection of several full bins on a Sunday morning at 07:45 were VERY loud and disturbing. The hotel should forbid bin collection at that time of the morning.
If we stayed again, we would request a room away from the central courtyard to avoid these little issues that can affect the overall enjoyment of your stay.
Many of the shops in the area are only open from Monday to Friday, as this is a very business area.

Overall, we would stay here again and if you want somewhere comfortable, stylish and near to the Theatre District/St Paul's/City of London, you should too!

Room Tip: Ask to avoid the side of the building overlooking the bins, as this can disturb your Sunday snooze!

Stayed at the hotel for one night when visiting London with friends. The hotel is in a great central location, set back off Fleet Street in a lovely courtyard. The hotel is easy walking distance to the Strand, Covent Garden & St Paul's Cathedral and tube station a short stroll away. Rooms were comfortable, spacious and well kitted out. Only hiccup was a 10-15 minute wait for a table for breakfast in the morning but was delicious and there was lots of choice. Children 12 and under eat for free at the hotel which makes it good value if travelling with children. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

I stayed there for the first time in April. This was a business trip and the location was very convenient to the financial district. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large which is unusual by UK standards. Despite being on Fleet Street, it was a peaceful oasis at the end of the day. The staff were eager to help in any way. I would stay there again. The hotel is brand new and the decor is nicely done.

Stayed at his hotel for 5 nights in April. The hotel is newly opened and use it's location in the old Serjeants Inn to make some interesting designed rooms with good space and high ceilings. The location at the foot of Fetter Lane is very convenient for business in the City as St. Paul's, the Millennium Bridge and the New Tate as well as the Middle Temple. The staff was very accommodating, if newly trained. WiFi (included in the tariff) worked very well and the in room HD TV had the full range of digital stations. Bathroom and shower excellent.

The negatives: The location is actually hard to find as the entrance to the hotel is set back from Fleet Street and easy to miss. The area is also very focused on business and very quite on the weekend. Other than pubs it is somewhat sparse on decent restaurants. The hotel restaurant as well as room service is underwhelming both as to quality, quantity, and price (poor value for money). The menu selections in the restaurant are very limited.

I would stay again.
