We stayed here on July 07th as we were seeing Rhod Gilbert at the Apollo. Everything was great, the reception was friendly, we were able to book in almost 2 hours early. The room was clean, and very well maintained, the bathroom was spotless, and the bed very comfy.

Every staff member we came into contact with was friendly, happy and smiling. The ladies in the kitchen at breakfast were just lovely.

I would absolutley stay here again and would recommend it to anybody needing to stay in the Hammermith area.

Rhod Gilbert was superb too!!

We (two couples) arrived at the Adria at 8:30 am after a tiring 22 hour flight from Australia, hoping to be able to leave our suitcases until it was possible to check in during the afternoon. However our rooms were already available, and the proprietor carried our cases with great alacrity up the narrow winding staircase to them, where we were able to unpack and relax for a welcome break before setting out on the day's sightseeing. Although the rooms were not luxurious they included wardrobes, television, tea and coffee making facilities and free WiFi, and the bathrooms were small but adequate. The rooms were also kept spotlessly clean each day by the staff. Good breakfasts were also available if required. The location is particularly convenient for public transport (only 3 minutes walk from the Hammersmith tube and bus stations) and inexpensive eating places (e.g. the William Morris pub), and the tariff was much cheaper than at the well known chain tourist hotels. During our total stay of 19 nights the staff were invariably friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and to make our stay a pleasant one.
In short, the Adria is inexpensive, clean, adequate and very conveniently located. We will certainly stay there during our next visit to London and have recommended it to our friends as well.

Adria Hotel is a good choice for a tight pocket. First of all, I assume it more as B&B than a hotel itself but, anyway, this does not play down my review.
Room, as it has already been mentioned, was quite small and simple. Don't expect luxuries. In fact, there's only the bed, which was confortable, a TV, a small wardrobe, and some tea facilities. However some details should be oberved: the room was spotlessly clean, there was at least an american standard plug for electronical devices (and this was particularly very interested for us, once we're not from UK) and housekeeping is made everyday. Important to mention we have given a room facing the road. Of course there was noise from outside, but we didn't have major issues during the night. Unless you are a light sleeper you probably won't have problems.
Staff was friendly and repeceptive.
Free WiFi internet is avalilable.
Breakfast is good and generous. I tried the yummi English Breakfast.
Location is quite good in the heart of Hammermisth You will find almost everything around there. There are lots of ways to reach downtown. Bus stop is right door and subway stations are as close as 10 minutes walking (maybe a bit less).
I probably would stay at Adria Hotel again when I return to London.

Room Tip: In case of being a light sleeper, ask back rooms. There's no lift and stairs are very sloped.

Arrived v.tired, jet lagged and sweaty and was shown to our tiny room up unbelievably steep stairs with three coat hangers in the wardrobe, a bathroom that can hold less than one person and lots of road noise. We were very unhappy. The staff/owners were great, very apologetic, got us more coat hangers would have given us another room but they were fully booked. Next day they went out of their way to give us a bigger room and we felt much better. We then noticed how spotlessly clean the hotel was and just how friendly and accommodating the staff/ owners were. This is an excellent budget hotel, well located and worth considering. Just don't expect large rooms.

This Hotel was better than anticipated. Fearing the worst, after having to go off the beaten track of Central London branded hotels (Due to high season and no availability), I was pleasently surprised to find a clean and comfortable hotel.

Yes the en-suite defies the laws of time & space to fit everything in, yes the room was basic, but the staff were helpful, the bed linen was lovely, white and fresh as a daisy and it was clean. Felt like a comfortable and safe spot to rest ones head for the night.
