Owner description: Opened in 1871, the Royal Albert Hall is the world’s most famous stage. It is also one of London’s most iconic and visited tourist attractions. Over the years, it has been the scene of over 150,000 performances; from Wagner to Sinatra, The Beatles to Beyonce, Muhammad Ali to Adele, and is home to the celebrated BBC Proms. Whilst the venue is most famous for its shows by night, by day this treasured building is open for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and guided tours of the building. Tip for tour ticket holders: Enjoy a 10% discount on items in the Hall’s gift shop and Cafe Bar.

Took a tour with extremely informative and very witty guide, visiting every level and entering Royal box and Royal withdrawing room. Heavy metal band was doing sound checks for evening show and sound was stunning. This is a concert venue like no other, seating over 4,000,without a poor seat in the house. It stages shows of every sort, from sporting events to concerts. The main floor can even be flooded with thousands of gallons of water if the show demands.

Visited in December, our first visit here and we were in awe of how beautiful the inside is, great sound drying the show too.

Unless you want to pay £28 for two plastic cups of mediocre wine I would avoid the downstairs bar! OK it's an upmarket venue but this Rhubarb bar isn't upmarket in any way!

We visited here on London Open House Weekend, which allowed us into the Hall. We walked around one of the upper levels and got to go in a box. There is a lot of history here and the exhibits highlight some of the many concerts and performers. Definitely go here for a concert-it would be a wonderful experience.

We had tickets for Kasabian as part of the Teenage Cancer Trust week. This was my first but i can honestly say it is my new favourite venue! It is just the right size at circa 5500 seats and i can highly recommend seats in the Grand Tier as they are essentially boxes for upto 12 people. We had seats in the Grand Tier right next to the stage so we were spoiled with excellent views. Also in these seats you can have a hostess service that serve food and drink. I loved it so much i wish it was my local concert venue!
